Where to buy tortilla strips for tortilla soup?

My wife and I are making tortilla soup but can't find a place that sells tortilla strips. Anyone?

Costco sells a gigantic (3 lb) bag of tortilla strips for about $2.79. You'd have to make huge quanitites of soup to use it up but you can always munch on the excess.

Or if you are just super lazy like me..... My Nana's brand of tortilla chips is also sold as strips and are quite yum. I like to add them into bean burritos too.

Second making your own. I just fry them in a little bit of oil and then dry them on a rack... YUMMY!!! If you are near a Gigante, I suggests you go there, they have EXCELLENT Jalapeno (Green) and Guajillo (Red) tortillas that make the BEST little tortilla strips! :)

it's easy to make your own from corn tortillas. Just cut 6 or 8 tortillas into strips and:

Adjust oven rack to middle position; heat oven to 425 degrees. Spread tortilla strips on rimmed baking sheet; drizzle with oil and toss until evenly coated. Bake until strips are deep golden brown and crisped, about 14 minutes, rotating pan and shaking strips (to redistribute) halfway through baking time. Season strips lightly with salt; transfer to plate lined with several layers paper towels.
