Finally got a big party together and, along with Katya's ordering instructions, had a great dinner at this jumping place. Very different from the quiet lunches I've had! Tah Dig was parsley, mint leaves, walnuts, radishes and squares of flat bread. Highly improved by a slug of yougart. Then we had two of the Gheymeh, one with herbs and kidney beans, the other with meat and another type of bean -also eaten with flat bread. Entrees were Zereshk Polo and Zereshk with lamb shank. I agree with Katya that the cranberries on the chicken were the key ingredient because the lamb was a little dry. Others had combination of meats and kebobs, the best of which was the chicken which was grilled with Persian spices and lemon. The other two kebobs were ground lamb and beef, not as tasty. The kebobs at Kabul, down the street, however cannot be topped. The service was excellent, the tithe $22 per person including tip. The evening was further enlightened by the KQED team filming for an upcoming "Bay Area Check Please" So there may be closeups of our food in a starring role. Lots of fun!
