BBQ or Mexican food for a company picnic in North county area San Diego

Looking for a place that will cater a BBQ or maybe Mexican food for about a hundred people at the beach in the North county area. We are located in Carlsbad. Does anyone have any suggestions. We have a budget of about 1300 for 100 people. Any recommendations would be appreciated. thanks

Only caveat with Abbey's is their chicken is pretty dry. Best bets are the brisket and pulled pork, both of which are tender and juicy. The hot links are also pretty good.

I have some family in San Diego who used a company called Abbey's Real Texas BBQ to cater a large wedding reception. The food was very good.

Do you mean real BBQ (smoked), or grilled meats?

either one is fine. Just looking for some good food for a large group of people.
