Seattle to Coeur d'Alene
Need a good restaurant with a view somewhere between Seatac and downtown for dinner on a tuesday night.
We are heading to Coeur d'Alene for a couple of days. Any suggestions for places to eat along the way and places in town.
Heard about Hudsons burgers and a great Sushi rec. Anything else we must do or eat.
I've said it before, but the Valley Cafe in Ellensburg (105 W 3rd Ave) is very good and a beautiful space, one of my favorites anywhere.
I like to have blueberry pancakes and eggs at the Huckleberry's market on the south hill (926 S Monroe St, Spokane), they have an extensive deli counter and juice/coffee bar. Lindaman's (1235 S. Grand Blvd.) has a good deli counter and is open all day; their baristas are good at what they do. Hills' Someplace Else is reopening on the corner of Washington and Main (Spokane) in late September; I had friends in Portland that drove there just to eat dinner. The owner/chef is one of the only cordon bleu-trained chefs in the area.
The best gutbomb meal is a whammy, fries, and a cherry pie with ice cream at Dicks in Spokane. Amazing.
I can't remember any places in Coeur d'Alene but I've seen some recs - you might try a search. This is a pretty common query.
