  1. We've eaten lunch at the Mediterranean Garden Grill in Monrovia. I'm not an expert on Mediterranean food, but it was quite tasty and reasonably priced. The eating area is a covered patio.

    1. Try Sam's Deli/The Kabob Room on Myrtle. I personally like it better than the Mediterranean Garden Grill. Empanadas Gourmet ("genuinue Argentinian-Italian food") is also good. If you are willing to go to a hole-in-the-wall joint, try La Paloma. It has some good tacos.

My short review of the place:

Sam's is good and also very inexpensive. My only beef with them is (at least before - we haven't been in a while) is that they don't have or don't turn on their air conditioning and it gets hot and stuffy in there.
