Egg FOO Young, no flour...
I live in the Valley, but I'd travel to anywhere in LA to get some of what I consider REAL egg foo young.
I want egg patties that don't have flour and aren't pancakey. Just more like an omelette with the meat or veggies or whatever EMBEDDED in the omelette, not external to the patty.
I've lived on the East Coast and in the midwest and both cities had Egg Foo Young that was just made of egg, w/o the gooky flour business. Which wasy is more authentic (as if I really care)? and where can I find some of the kind that I like in the LA area? Does anybody know what I'm talking 'bout?
