Rosiepigs, I have the recipe for the Buttered Corn Soup from the NY Times. I haven't made it yet, though. Would you like it? Or were you looking for something else?

Rosiepigs, Here's a good recipe. Let me know if you try it.

      6 cloves garlic chopped
      1 c chopped onion
1/2-1 c red peppr- fine chopped
      2 Tbls uns butter
      4 c fresh corn kernals (5 ear of corn)3 c chickn broth
      1 jalepeno minced
      1 c cream
      1 c milk

Roast the garlic in a pc of foil for 10 min.@375. In the soup pot saute onion and pepp in buttr till soft. Add garlic broth and jalapeno. Bring to boil, then simmer lo for 10 mins. Stir in crm and milk, simmer 2 mins. Don't boil.
