best lo mein?

Where do people go for good lo mein in the metro Boston area?

this reminds me...i used to get the most amazing lo mein at a now-defunct vietnamese restaurant in chinatown. the noodles were definitely thicker/firmer than those used in chinese lo mein, and the sauce was markedly different too.

i'll try pho lemongrass...anyone else have suggestions for good vietnamese-style lo mein?

although not really lo mein, i had the shanghai noodles at king fung in chinatown this past weekend and they were incredible. very thick cut and had an irregular shape that lead me to believe that they are hand cutting the noodles there. will be back this weekend to more fully check out the menu.

One of the things I love about KFG is their noodles are homemade.

What kind of lo mein do you like, the kind that's made with spaghetti-width soft noodles or the kind that's made with angelhair-width egg noodles? If it's the latter, I recommend Hong Kong Eatery in Chinatown. If it's the former, I like Pho Lemongrass in Brookline.
