Need a special/romantic/indulgent place for a 35th birthday dinner..nassau or western suffolk.

I'm going to be 35 shortly, and dh made reservations at One if by Land...i'm rethinking that based on reviews here and the fact that i can't arrange sleep over babysitting so i'd rather not get home so terribly late since i'll have my baby alarm clock the next day!

Any ideas? We like steak, italian, french, not so much seafood. price isn't really an issue, i just want a spectacular meal with GREAT service.
