As good as mom's pho

When I want eggrolls, it's Golden Deli. If I want pho or Bun Thit Nuong, it's Pho Pasteur.
I like it. Is it good? who knows? I've read posts on this board from people saying that the broth has no heart, or lacks the great spices that a true pho should have.
Please help! Where can I go in the SGV to see flocks of Vietnamese, loving the pho, apart from your own mothers' kitchens?
Superbowl, on Main/Las Tunas is my personal fave. It's on the south side of the street, maybe 2 or 3 blocks west of the Las Tunas/Mission intersection. I was introduced to this place by Vietnamese friends who knew the Cerritos location. I guess this is the sister restaurant. The soup is very good, everything tastes fresh, and the restaurant is clean. I've been to pho 79 on Garfield, and a few others in the area, but always come back to this place for reliable, great-tasting pho. Lower level of a white or beige minimall.
Definitely My Hanh, 9611 Garvey (two blocks east of Rosemead). Go in at lunchtime and look at the flocks of Viet salarymen sucking down pho like lightning.
Thanks for all the great recommendations so far. I will report back with all the pho comparisons!
