Best vineyards for reds in sonoma county?
Love Jordan and Silver Oak--looking for other great reds with pretty vineyards--i.e. gorgeous grounds, gardens, on the river--or great tours. thanks!
Try the "Pinot Noir trail" leading into Healdsburg and make sure you hit Rochioli and some of their neighbors.
If you're a zin fan, try Dry Creek Road. Not only a pretty drive but just full of outstanding zin producers.
I agree with rtmonty and am an especially big fan of Dry Creek Vinyards (tasting room is 'Ok," but the wines are worth it. I'd also suggest Ferrari-Carrano.
