Metro stop restaurants?

There are some posts from a couple of years ago about good restaurants near a Metro stop, preferably the Red Line. I'd be interested in NEW suggestions for a dinner within 2 blocks of a station. I haven't been in DC for a while, so I am only familiar with the old, tried and true restaurants, and I have no idea whether they are still good. It would be great to try something new!

  1. Two suggestions I have near the red line are both at Cleveland Park. Get the roast chicken at the front room of Palena or head one block down to Nam Viet for a bowl chock filled with grilled lemongrass pork, vermicelli, and spring rolls.

Just search Nam Viet for a load of more recs.

    2. At the risk of stating the obvious, Ray's The Classics is two blocks from the Silver Spring Metro stop. You'll need a resrvation but it is close enough.

      1. Dino is one block south of the Cleveland Park METRO stop, great and well priced wine list.

        1. Apologies for not responding earlier. I appreciate all the suggestions. Rays The Classics is what I ended up choosing.

          1. Guapo's, Krupins and Neisha in Tenleytown. Guapo's and Neisha is right there when you get out of the Metro and Krupin's is 2 blocks down on the left when you walk down Wisconsin toward Chevy Chase.
