Driving a friend from Beverly Hills to LAX this evening and she desperately wants to stop for tacos and margaritas on the way. Suggestions?

Thanks so much.

La Serenata di Garibaldi on Pico is very good, especially for Fish (near the Westside Pavillion).

It's probably heresy to say so, but I also like Kay & Dave's, which is a very bastardized version of Mexican food. I think it's $1 a taco on Tuesday.

For ordinary Mexican food, like tacos, you can try Pacos Tacos on Manchester, about 1/2 block east of Sepulveda. They have ok margaritas. Or there's Hacienda del Rey, which has better margaritas at a good price and a little mamasita in the corner making fresh handmade tortillas. The food is authentic cali/mex and the hard shell tacos go well with the margaritas.
Hacienda del Rey is on Lincoln Blvd. 1 block north of Manchester.
