Hi,

Wondering if anyone knows where to get excellent Bao (chinese bbq pork buns) on the westside.

Needing my bao fix!

Believe it or not, the Bao to go at Famima in the 3rd st. Promendade is pretty good. OF course it's not as good as the ones at REAL Dim Sum places, but when the fix is needed...

I this Famima has other locations through out the west side too...

I was just @ Famima for lunc...got a sushi plate.

I found them to be too chewey and sticky for my liking. Wished they had some baked ones though.....those are soooo good.

But I can't think of anywhere they would have them on the westside. I had some good baked ones and some not so good steamed ones @ Schezwan restaurant on PCH in Lomita last weekend for Dim Sum.
