Decent Dominican buffet in Inwood

Yesterday I went to IPF, a Dominican buffet restaurant on Dyckman just east of Broadway with three other diners for some much-needed comfort chow. I liked the fact that it was buffet; we could sample a variety of things and modulate the portions to our hunger level. I had yellow rice and red beans, the rice achieving a satisfactory level of fluffiness and the beans the requisite level of soupiness. I also picked out what I thought was pernil, although I supposed it could have been lechon - chunks of pork with a crispy, sticky skin - which was shy of the Platonic version of that dish, but definitely good. I also got some parts of the rotisserie chicken, which was also pretty good, probably not as flavorful as you might get at Malecon. A mac-n-cheese dish was forgettable. I know very little about the chow options in this neighborhood, so it's good to know about this place for future reference. I'm wondering if anyone has any other recommendations around here.

There are 3 places on Broadway, just north of 207th that are worth checking out. Piper's Kilt for a great burger and other pub fare. Park Terrace Bistro serves French/Middle Eastern and The Garden Cafe just next door. All three can be counted on for a good meal.

There's a decent restaurant called La Galeria on 207th & Vermilyea? Their roast chicken is very good....
