This place looks amazing and has prompt service, but the food all tastes the same, sweet. Bangkok curry should not be indistinguishable from basil beef.
Curry puff appetizer was bland and fried bananna desert was the worst I've ever had. Whats with the default lauding of any restaurant that looks cool in this neighborhood.
Sea's food is pretty bad--I'd go there if I needed a quick, cheap meal but it's not someplace I'd go out of my way to visit. Usually I stick to very basic things that are impossible to mess up. I like Planet Thailand better (and they're just down the street), but neither restaurant is anything to write home about.
I think there are better Thai places among those in lower Greenpoint, near the top of the park.
Sea is awful. They care more about their "happening decor" than they do their food. Same sugary curry stuff like most other Thai places in NYC.
