Pinehurst

Looking for someplace for a dinner of maybe 10 in Pinehurst area. Group includes some semi-foodies, so looking for a good wine list and somewhere we can linger. Expensive is okay.

Resort is pricey, great breakfast but better options elsewhere for dinner.

I usually don't venture for this type of food while in Pinehurst, usually sticking to Dugan's Pub. We usually stay at the Pinecrest Inn, which has a great deal which includes breakfast AND dinner. The dinner is pretty good, even for some semi-foodies. And it's a fun atmosphere, with a porch for drinks.
But my first instinct for more upscale would be to suggest the Resort, but other than that I'm not sure.
