Southwest too general on Board! [Moved from Chow Feedback]

Are you kidding. Phoenix is the Fifth largest city in the USA, and you just call it and all other four corners states..Southwest? Please get over your San Fran self...better recognize. The foodie revolution is hitting like a monsoon in the Sonoran desert.

Need a Phoenix metro board ASAP.

    1. I'm of the opposite opinion. The traffic is so scant on both the Southwest and the Texas boards that both could be folded into one board.

      1. I think Las Vegas should be on it's own, it overwhelms the board with buffets and high end dining so much that it's hard to find anything else.

I guess we all have differing perceptions. At the time of my writing, of the 40 topics on the first page of the Southwest board, 19 of them relate to Phoenix metro. On average, I would say that Phoenix and Vegas end up with about the same number of posts.

But the frequency of posts on the Southwest board doesn't really justify a new board for either Phoenix or Vegas. Hop over to the L.A. board and watch there be 40+ topics on L.A. metro eateries per day, where the Southwest board may have 40+ entries every 5 or 6 days.
