Warm chocolate lava cake............OMG

S.O. took me to the Charthouse Malibu tonight - A proper proposal dinner...We came here for Valentines Day as well and forgot how incredible this place is. The clam chowder, the VIEW, and man o man that warm chocolate lava cake. If nothing else, come here to soak in the sunset, have that lava cake and a rich cup of coffee. It's the sexiest dessert around! A bit of heaven for sure! And tonight, I even left with a magnificent engagement ring on my finger! :) KQ

Wow -- since a few people confirmed the OMG I guess I gotta try too (so many places offer variants of the chocolate molten/lava/ganache cake it's hard to decipher where the really good ones are.)

My personal fave so far is Susina's -- pop it in the mike for 30 seconds... UMMM MMMM!!!

I went to Charthouse in Malibu for father's day a few years back and still I have shivers thinking of the Warm Chocolate Lava cake.

I love how you have to order it at the same time as your entree, cause it means your committed to it, even if you eat too much your first 2 courses.
