Cooking Classes?

Hi there. Does anyone happen to know of a place that offers decent cooking classes in or around Baltimore? I want to get a few classes as a gift for someone, and I think he'd really enjoy this. The only places I've seen thus far are for children only. Any and all ideas are really appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Jessica

    Sorry I got Roland park's URL twisted. It's www.rpcs.org.
And Baltimore International college does not have classes for the public any more, as far as I know.

I guess if you called Baltimore International College they might have some info

I know that A Cook's Table in Federal Hill used to, but I think they closed, unless they just moved to another location

I think Cook's Table did move-- it's up by Matisse now (I think that's right...).

L'Academie de Cuisine is great. They have two campuses, amateur campus in Bethesda and pro campus in Gaithersburg. Excellent demo and hands-on classes. Unfortunately you just missed Somchet's Thai cooking class but she'll do another.

Though not strictly Baltimore, the Washington post usually does a fall cooking classes guide which is very exhaustive. I am sure you could look up an ealier list.

I'd also be very interested in any information about this. TIA!
