Please add comments to recipes!

The site looks very promising overall, but one of the big omissions I see so far is the ability to add comments and reviews to recipes. I've found that to be one of the deciding factors as to whether I actually use a given recipe site -- lots of things look good in print, but comments help you determine what actually *works*. I've made a number of dynamite recipes from other sites largely because some conscientious commenter has pointed out that a cook time or temperature was wrong, or that some basic ingredient was omitted. The best chefs and cookbook authors make those mistakes, so editing is *not* a substitute.

A more granular rating system for recipes (1-10, for instance) would also be helpful.

I concur! Comment and photographs for recipes are a MUST. This is why I return to Epicurious time and time again.

Comments would be useful especially since there is a profile of the postee - that way one can see if there is general agreement and/or ability level.

I agree with comments on recipes (these should also be printed when the Print function rolls out) and a rating system is a good idea. Check out www.bigoven.com -- their community is very active and the way they handle recipes is quite good.
