Any new restaraunts opened in berkeley/Albany area

Wondering any new places to try in the east bay?

    In Berkeley there's Cafe Gratitude, Epicurious Garden, Guerilla Cafe, Bui and Ici Ice Cream (set to open any day now).

      And how could I forget, 900 Grayson. Without a doubt my favorite new place to open in the past year.

        Yeah, that's probably the place with the most newness. Breakfast and lunch only so far.

        Bui's the BenDean replacement.

            Not yet open. Looks totally ready with alcohol bottles in the bar and tables set, but so far no action. I pass it every day on my dog walk.

          My understanding is that all construction is complete and they're waiting on final city approval. If the inspections went well this week they will open on tomorrow.

            The new rib place at Bancroft and Oxford. Looked open when I was driving past last night.

            The reincarnation of Saigon in the old BenDean spot.
