Somewhere good for a biz. dinner Monday night. Price isn't so important, just something with GREAT food and at least good atmosphere.

How about Alto? Not in Rockefeller Center but very close. Pricey but worth it.
For a bit less $$$ there is the Cafe at Aquavite.
If it is for this coming Monday, You should call in case they are closed for Labor Day.

I did a business dinner at Alto recently that was very sucessful--you can ask for a corner booth in the room off the main dining room if you need things to be intimate and quiet. Price can be reasonable if you don't go crazy with the wine list.

Oh, I meant near Rockefeller Ctr. not in it. Thanks. And, not Labor day - couple of weeks out.

I would do 21 Club. The food is reliable and the "Old New York" atmosphere can't be beat.

You can't do better than Le Bernadin.

Went to Le Benardin last time I was in town. Fabulous food and service. Honestly, a little quiet for my rowdy crowd, but the food was wonderful, and the wine.
