Has anyone been to that Australian sausage place on E1st Street?

It's between The Tasting Room and Prune. Rec's? It looks kinda cool and reminds me of Top Dog in Berkeley.

The spicey chicken pie is my current favorite. You should also ask what is freshest. The pies are kept in a case under a heat lamp and when they sit too long they tend to dry out.

I'm a regular, and note that they have an equally good outlet in the CyberCafe on 49th between Broadway and 8th Avenue.

it's great. staff is super friendly, and the food is cheap and good. and i love that a meat pie place has multiple vegetarian options (though i have to say that my SO was not a huge fan of the veggie sausage roll).

here's a post with the Big Dog's two cents on the place:

tuck shop isn't really a sausage place, though they do serve sausage rolls. their specialty is the aussie meat pie, and yes, they're very good.
