can I do anything with four small tomatillos?
I got four very small tomatillos from my CSA (actually these are what are left over from my friend's picking them up for me while I was on vacation). They are each the size of a ping pong ball or smaller. I have a recipe for a sauce that I like, but this is certainly not enough to make a sauce. Does anyone just *eat them* on their own? Can I combine them with something else? On principle I hate wasting any of my CSA produce--

I used to make shrimp tacos with tomatillos, cilantro and shrimp in a decent amount of oil. cook tom. and cil. down in the oil, add shrimp at the last minute (season with s&p). warm corn tortillas in a pan or over your burners. et voila. serve with sour cream or avocado. totally not authentic but fast and good.

They have to be cooked, raw they taste bleh...
Since you don't have enough for green salsa, you should add them to a red (using roma tomatoes) since Tomatillos, even small ones offer a great tang... :) I put them in every salsa I make! :)
