Need recommendations on eating out in Rome
My husband and I are going to Rome for 4 days and 4 nights for an anniversary getaway. The main focus of the trip will be food and walking around the city. Would like to do a balance of the local, "humble" bistro type place (one of the best meals I have ever had was a linguine vongole in some random cafe in Trastevere, wish I had written down the name!) as well as the top places. Would love your recommendations (did read the one posting below), don't know exactly where we will be staying but we will be adventurous and willing to travel for good food.
Many thanks for your views.
