Pho in Marin

Ever since the Asian grocery store/restaurant off of Francisco in San Rafael closed, I can't find good pho over here. Any ideas? Will go from Sausalito up to Napa for a glorious bowl of the magic noodles. Thanks!

sarasam is correct. Saigon Village IS run by the same people that ran the restaurant at the back of the Asian market off Francisco. Mary

I believe that Saigon Village on B Street is owned and run by the same people that ran the Vietnamese restaurant at the back of the Asian market off Francisco. Service has improved slightly. They have the best Vietnamese tea that is imported by the owner.

saigon village on b street san rafael is great. service is usually pretty slow, but the food is really fresh. there are no other good vietnamese restaurants in marin.

Has anyone tried the Pho place on 4th Street across from Cain's tires? It's on my list, but I haven't made it in yet.

The place across from Cain's? I think it's called Paradise? Easily the worst pho I've ever had. The only other one I've found in San Rafael is on B next door to Safeway, and it's pretty good.
