If you suggest a restaurant, suggestions of places nearby that have things of interest to do would be appreciated. I prefer the Pasadena area but I'm open to L.A. I just would really want to avoid the bar/club scene (I'm open to anywhere though) as I would like to make friends and not worry about sleazy men trying to pick me up.
