Palm Springs great Mexican and beer?

Moved from Los Angeles to Washington about a year ago and the thing I miss the most is Mexican food. Everything here is kind of bland. My standbys were hole-in-the wall like the old Gloria's on Stoner (salvadoran too) now on Venice, El Tarasco and Mi Ranchito. I'll be in Palm Springs next week and I need a fix.

Also, anybody know a good beer spot to take my crew after the job? Maybe a Father's Office tap selection with more of a Lucky Baldwin's crowd/atmosphere?

    1. There are several good Mexican places. One of our favorite hole in the walls is International Cafe 67778 E Palm Canyon Dr, Cathedral City.

      1. Sorry guys International Cafe has closed -- it is now a middle east place -- Father's Place super joint -- Try Grill a Burger on Palm Canyon in the middle of town may fit the bill--

Grill-a-Burger is one of my favorite places to grab a great burger and the wait staff is alway cheerfull and does a good job. For great Tex-Mex style try "El Gallito" in Cathedral City. Take it from a local girl!
