Montreal - Labor Day

Will it be a problem finding restaurants that are open on Labor Day. Staying at the Sofitel. Assume the hotel restaurant will be open, but what else is in the area. Thanks.

    Restaurants in Montreal don't typically close for holidays like Labour Day.

      ...but many are closed every Monday.
