Hi all,

Are any of you familiar with a good caterer who has good experience with vegetarian food? The menu ideas I've seen so far from caterers my carnivore friends have recommended have been lackluster and I thought I'd post here on the off-chance one of you know someone fabulous! We are going to get quotes from Carmelita's and Cafe Flora for starters, but are hoping for someone who specializes in full-service catering. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

We just had Ravishing Radish cater our wedding and they did a fabulous job. They have a very good vegetarian menu to choose from. They worked with us to adapt one of the side dishes, a salad, to make it veg-friendly by serving the bacon on the side. At our request, they also made 30 of the 110 mains into a vegetarian option - roasted vegetable stacks with mozzarella. Even though this required them to prepare a separate item and serve it in a separate chafing dish, they did not charge us extra. The food was great and they were very easy to work with.

Ask a PCC deli what they can do. The best conference-lunch catering job I ever saw was a fabulous spread by PCC.

Joanie's Catering. She's done a terrific job personalizing menus for me in the past. Not a vegetarian caterer, but could easily modify or make a menu for you. Never anything short on flavor or run of the mill out of her kitchen.
