So I had this beer in a bar in San Francisco (Toronado I believe). I'm not a huge beer fanatic but this particular beer was fabulous. I believe it's Dutch. Does anyone know where I can find/order it? I'm slightly desparate to find it. Thanks in advance.

I think it is no longer imported and the absence of it on the D&V website seems to confirm it. It used to be available at my local beer palace but then they told me they couldn't get it anymore. I called the L.A. distributor and he told me it was out of their portfolio permenantly. All this happened at least 2 years ago so maybe some other importer picked it up. But I haven't seen it in the U.S. for a long time and I would buy it if I come across it somewhere.

The US importer should be able to tell you who the local distributor is, who, in turn, should be able to give you the location of a local retailer. (All those "should's" are there because some importers & distributors are decidedly consumer-unfriendly for whatever reason- one would think they'd WANT to let the consumer know where their beers are sold but...).

According to the Online Belgian Beer Guide (yeah, I know, it's a Dutch beer...), D&V International brings the beer into the US.

Yet, oddly, I don't see the beer listed on D&V's own site.

...but they do have a "contact" page, so maybe they can help.
