where to buy Sweet Soy Sauce in SF
I bought a bottle of Sweet soy sauce when I was living in Boston a few years back, and every time I've looked for it since I haven't been able to find it. Anyone know where I can find a bottle of it?

Is there still a Thai market out on Geary?
Probably at Pacific Super on Alemany.

I recently purchased dark soy sauce, which contains molasses, at Sunset Super on Irving near 24-25th Avenues. Is sweet soy sauce different from dark soy sauce?
Related to sweet soy sauce: I have purchased Indonesian kecap manis at 99 Ranch in Daly City.

You can most likely find it at May Wah in Clement St or any of the large Asian markets that are prevalent nowadays in the suburbs. The Indonesian sweet soy (kecap manis) should be easy to find at any large Asian market. Brand such as ABC and Bango are common ones

99 Ranch will pretty much have everything. Super May Wah on Clement St. is worth a try as well.

Pacific Super is the same kind of place as 99 Ranch.

Lee Kum Kee makes a sweet soy sauce that I buy at 99 Ranch Market. I've also seen it at Lion Market as well. I mainly use it for during the last stages of stir-frying for the salty/sweet component.
