Info Needed!: Little Snack Shop in Fern Dell (Griffith Park)

i heard they recently revamped this little snack shop with new food and decor. i dont know much else. is it still just a self-serve shop or have they glorified it? what type of food? etc. any info would be appreciated. thanks!

Interestingly enough, I just saw a Huell Howser thing on Griffith Park and he interviewed the owner of The Trails Cafe. The guy works in the "industry" and used to eat really bad food there in a beautiful location back in the day. When he found that it had been closed, he bought, rennovated and revived it. A big focus on pastries that they prepare on site, along with sandwich type items (Avocado sandwich, a vegan meat pie, etc.). The pies, cakes and tarts look worth checking out. There was an article about the snack stand in the Dec 05 issue of Los Angeles Magazine. I can't find it at the LAmag website...but the article was entitled: Five-star snack shack: with the trails, Griffith Park has gone gourmet

thanks for the info. i went over there today and had a slice of the peach and blueberry pie. it was fresh out of the oven and delicious! the slice was huge and only 3.50. the stand is called "the trails."
