Exploring the eastern part of the Island, about 45 minutes east of Charlottetown we found, in Murray Harbor, the perfect bowl of Seafood Chowder at a country restaurant called BREHOUT'S. The chowder was brimming with assorted sea food, including Lobster, cost about $5.00 a bowl, and came with a biscuit. I ordered a side of cole slaw (75 cents) and a delicious dessert of blueberry cake with caramel sauce and soft ice cream. Total bill under $10 for lunch. Iv'e tried seafood chowder all over the Island. The one at Brehout's is absolutely the best. And the price is a true value.

Thank you so much for your post. We are heading to PEI in two weeks and we are always looking for great food. Do you have any other foodie recommendations (including products, ie. the gouda from the Cheese Lady in Winslow is one of our "must buys")?
