Matt's in the Market or Campagne?

Which would you choose for a romantic dinner? I've been to Campagne but was wondering if we should give Matt's a try?

Campagne is an establishment and hence you must eat there once, at least.

I definitely prefer Matt's for lunch. I've been there for romantic dinners and it's not quite there in terms of ambiance. Agree it's too casual. I'd pick Campagne, of the two.

Oh, I don't know. My now-husband and I went to Matt's (on a Wednesday!) for our first date and had such a wonderful and romantic time that when we finally looked up we noticed that the staff were putting all of the chairs up on the tables... I wouldn't count out Matt's for romance.

Neither. CHez Shea instead (next door to Matts). Matts is great for lunch but both the food and the ambience/physical comfort fall more into the "casual" category than romantic.

I do like Campagne, but Matt's would be my choice.

Matt catered my wedding just a few weeks before he opened- great food and restaurant. Campagne is more of a fancy restaurant though.
