Where to find plantain tarts?
When I was in grad school in North Carolina their was a Jamaican restaurant that sold plantain tarts. They look like beef patties but the filling is mashed plantains that are combined with something to give the filling a reddish color. I loved them! Anyone know where to find these in NYC?
