Taqueria Las Vegas, Milpitas Report (w/ pics)
P. and I went here for lunch 8/24/06 and we just thought it was ok.
They have a huge menu but these are what we ordered:
Free chips and salsa. The salsa I got tasted like ketchup, didn't try the other kinds. I didn't try the chips. Three tacos at $1.65 each. Carnita, lengua, and al pastor. I thought the lengua was ok-not tender enough for me but still ate it all; carnita and al pastor had lots of dried out pieces of meat w/ some onions and 2 corn tortillas that hold the taco together.
P. got carne asada fries $6.99. It looked good and it's huge, don't know how he liked it-he didn't finish it. He also got the tostada de ceviche $2.99-it was pretty good. Lots of fish meat, some avocado on a crispy tostada.
I also got a small horchata $1.25-which was good. They also have Tamarindo and Jamaica.
Fresh juice of orange/carrot prices are $1.99 small; 2.99 medium; 3.99 large.
They do take credit card which is always a good thing.
Hrs are long there: Daily 8am-10pm
