Rambutan Thai

I've been to Tuk Tuk Thai on the west side (Rambutan's sister restaurant) many times, but now I live on the east side of town. How does the food compare?

I've never been to Tuk Tuk, but Rambutan is quite enjoyable. It's a bit more refined, and less authentic, than any number of places a bit farther to the west in Thai Town, but the food is delicious (emphasis on small plate dishes - Thai tapas, if you will) and reasonably priced. And the dining room is quite pleasant (dark colors, subdued lighting, hip vibe going on). Definitely check it out.
