Solo dining in Cobble Hill area?
I may do a dinner out by myself on Thursday or Friday night - looking for something in the Heights/Hill/Gardens area (maybe a little farther out towards Park Slope but only far enough to walk), not too pricey but amenable to leftovers so I could order a couple of things and make it last two days. Suggestions?

I'd give Bocca Lupa (sp?) a try. The new italian place on the corner of Henry and Warren. Sitting at the bar is pleasant experience and you could order a variety of small things plates to taste a real variety of things.
Search this board for "henry" and "warren" and you'll see write-ups.

Taku. They have bar seating where the chefs cook, too. The have a variety of japanese-american plates and decent portions. The omakase is a lot of food, but a good value! You can request/lean them towards things you like, too. Hardly had room for the udon, so took it home - it was even better reheated the next day. The fried sesame shrimp are so good that I doubt you will be a able to save any for the next night.
Everything I have had was excellent, you couldn't go wrong with anything on the menu.›1 Reply -
