Of the various brands, what's your favorite creole mustard? Why?
Zataran's--because it tastes best.
Proof, once again, that brevity IS the soul of wit!
Another vote for Zatarain's.
And another vote for Zatarain's.
I thought brevity is the soul of lingerie : )
Zatarain's rules, cooked down there for years and it was the only mustard anyone used.
I would never consider buying anything but Zatarain's.
Just for the record, Z's is now owned by McCormick.
Zatarain's, probably because I grew up with it and the famous Zatarain's seafood boil mix. Just like Tabasco; I have never bought any other hot sauce because my parents always used Tabasco.
I have always gone with "Mister Mustard". It's made in New Jersey (I know, I know) and can sometimes be hard to find, but it's spicier than most without the seeds...love the stuff.
Not to buck the system, but I prefer Rex.
I'm a Rex fan too. Good flavor, better price than Brand Z.
Maison Louisianne Creole Mustard is the only one I use. I've used it for 14 years, and can't live without it. I can only find it online, however.
