Has anyone tried Rocamojo Coffee?

I saw this in a little market in LA today (California Country Market on Westwood/Overland) and was intrigued.

But not intrigued enough to buy it. It says it's 1/2 coffee, 1/2 roasted soy nuts.

The selling points are supposed to be decreased acidity (stomach friendly, the package says) and 1/2 the caffeine.

The fact that it retails for $10 and was on sale for $7 tells me it's either bad or so bizarre no one wants to even try it.

Were I out of coffee I might have struck a blow for houndishness and bought a bag to try, but I'm drowning in coffee so I had to resist.

Anyone?

Another place that offers soy "coffee" (most of their blends are actually 100% soy, with only one 50/50):

Then again, the place specializes in soy foods.

Personally, I like caffeine too much to even entertain the notion of trying this.

Me too. If the adjoining coffee shop had offered it by the cup I would have tried it. Maybe they need to start doing that to move the product.
