Good pasta -- Little Italy or near Ground Zero -- kid friendly

I’m looking for a restaurant near Ground Zero or Little Italy, very kid friendly good pasta. Any suggesitons are welcomed. Thanks.

    All of the pasta places near Ground Zero and in Little Italay are equally delicious.

      In other words, you're suggesting that js look elsewhere. I concur. How old is/are your kid(s)? Also, how much do you want to pay?

        Not Babbo prices, but willing to spend on the meal. Kids range between 8-13.

          If your kids are reasonably quiet, you could consider any number of Italian restaurants that have gotten good mentions here. I hesitate to recommend Lupa, because there are some indications it's deteriorated somewhat. I have enjoyed Bianca on Bleecker St. just west of Bowery, but haven't been lately. Col Legno on 9th St. just west of 2nd Av. is an old standby of mine and makes some good pasta dishes, especially the ones with ragu' di cinghiale and the one with mushroom sauce.

          I tend to think a thread like this would get a lot more response if it were on the Manhattan board. I just searched the Manhattan board for "pasta" and came up with some threads that are probably of interest to you:
