Crepes in the South Bay?

Porthos Aug 21, 2006 06:04 AM

I'm looking for something like Ti Couz, or anything close to it in the south bay. Should I keep looking or give up?

If you are willing to travel a little north, Laurel Street Cafe in San Carlos serves wonderful buckwheat crepes.

I've heard there is a good crepe place in downtown Los Altos, but I don't know any details.

I've never been, but in Los Gatos, there's Sweet Pea on 453 N. Santa Cruz Ave. It seems really popular. They have both buckwheat savory and white flour dessert crepes. A few mentions in the past on Chowhound, and lots of raves elsewhere on the internet fwiw.

Another crepe place is Crepe Daniel in Saratoga on 12100 Saratoga Sunnyvale Rd. I can't find any mentions on Chowhound. Sorry I haven't been. Jatbar.com review here:

Thanks for the tip on Sweet Pea. My research unearthed horrible reviews for Crepe Daniel. I think it'll be down to Sweet Pea or Crepe Cafe in Menlo Park... Anyone been to both?

I really like the duck crepe at Nora's Cafe in Palo Alto. It's chock full of duck meat. I haven't seen duck crepes at any other crepe place in the peninsula/south bay area.
