BEST DESERT PLACES in TO

I'm wondering where is a good place to go for desserts. I am looking for a place with cakes or crepes or waffles AND ice cream (so I can have both).. I go to Demetres every weekend, Ive also gone to Cafe Frappe a few times on the Danforth. and Im ready for something new, with good quality ice cream, no dairy queen kind of crap. Any ideas?

Il Gelatiere on Mt Pleasant at Soudan has crepes, as well as amazing gelato.

Not waffles & ice cream, but the "tapas" bar at Chiado has amazing _desserts_.

Or were you looking for desert cuisine? ;-)

this is pretty old. Im not sure what I was looking for at the time. haha. But thank you everyone.. I will try to get to Chiado for a treat and a drink some time this summer!

Sicilian Sidewalk Cafe in Little Italy has great ice cream and gelato as well as waffles and crepes.

I've heard from credible sources that Boba and Pangea have TRULY amazing desserts. Not sure if they're the waffle and ice cream type- they may be a little more pastry chef inspired, but from what I gather- they are top of the line and mouth-wateringly good.

Both excellent choices. Boba has a sampler dessert platter ("the Grand Dessert") with a bit of most of their desserts so you'll get ice cream, sorbets, cake, pie, pudding, cookies, small creme brulee, etc., etc. It's a dessert lovers dream and a great deal for $13.

Haven't ben to pangea in the past year but in recent years, I have had some of the best desserts ever there

Definitely not the waffle and ice cream type (Pangaea) but REALLY yummy desserts.
