I also miss Luigi's especially the chicken rollatini with mushrooms in brown sauce and the saute vegetables and those comfortable leather booths and the down to earth waitstaff. When they closed they mentioned possibly opening up a place in Astoria but don't believe it happened. The landlord ended up the loser since the restaurant that replaced Luigi's has long closed.

It's been reported on this board that Sirvino's in Woodside (61st and Roosevelt) is owned by the same family as Luigi's. The reviews of the new place weren't too flattering, but you could probably find your old favorites.

One of the daughters and her husband owns Arturo`s on 1st Ave and 85 St. One corner is the restaurant and the opposite corner is the pizza parlor.. Food is great!
