Loved Salts, loved Oleana, what's next?

Hi hounds -- Going to be in the Boston / Cambridge area this week and recently I've been to Salts and Oleana, loved them both. Any recomendations in the same area in the same vein? Many thanks!

      1. You might like Helmand, an Afghan restaurant in roughly the same area. I too love Salts and Oleana and I also love Helmand although it's not quite at the same level as the other two. Here is a menu with (outdated prices though). Reservations are pretty much a must.

Right across the river from that part of Cambridge is Pierrot Bistro, which might also fit the bill.

Had a nice meal recently at Helmand, standouts were the grilled rack of lamb and the aushak (a meat and leek filled dumpling). Kaddo, stewed baby pumpkin was good, but perhaps not as tender and smooth as I remember.

        2. If you love Oleana, consider a detour to Brookline Turkish family restaurant in Brookline Village. Not much in terms of fine silverware or decor, but good Turkish cooking that's could teach Oleana a thing or two.
