Has anyone been to Margaritas Fiesta Lounge on Baldwin? I am looking for a good Mexican restaurant in the downtown area, and stumbled across this one but I cant even find a website. Anyone been?

Yes, I was there last week for an outing with about 10 people. I'm sorry to report that the food was terrible. I had beef tacos, and the beef was unchewably tough and tasteless. Others had fajitas, enchiladas, etc. and everyone gave it just a bad-to-mediocre rating.

The drinks were good, but the service is slow. I think it took at least 15-20 minutes to get our first drinks.

I think if you do a search you may be able to find something even more specific to your quest.

          Good luck!

I have enjoyed Tacos El Asador (Clinton and Bloor?) and Rancho Relaxo on College.

Tacos el Asador is a bit like street meat in atmosphere. I really like their burritos... haven't tried their Tacos but they're supposed to be good. And their spicy salsa is great.

Rancho Relaxo is tasty and their portions are huge.

And if you're ever in Mississauga, you should stop by Chorizo (around Southdown and Lakeshore). Great burritos and fajitas.

are you looking for authentic mexican, or are you looking for tex-mex, or cali-mex?
