Good eats in Camden?

Next week we're watching a show at the Roundhouse in Camden and were wondering if there were any good eats in the immediate area. We're open to anything as long as it's not super-expensive, but it should be pretty close since we'd like to walk around the markets and lock area while we're there. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

In can heartily recommend Les Mignon a Lebanese restaurant on the corner of Arlington St and Delancey St just South of Camden tube. I guess about 15 mins walk from The Roundhouse.

On your way to the venue you should also stop at Marine Ices which is a London institution and does some of the best ice cream in town. It is almost opposite The Roundhouse just by Chalk Farm tube

    Hope this helps

Try Gilgamesh right down the street!

Even if you don't eat there, be sure to go for the retractable roof! Oh, and the food's good too.

          Have to agree

Gilgamesh is worth visiting BUT only to see what a folly it is.

A place that looks like a Babylonian brothel ( not that I am an expert in such matters ), seats about 600 people and serves insipid pan asian food. What the hell were they thinking???

Oh, but it LOOKS good. I mean, any place that has a red-carpeted escalator entrance has gotta be worth the trip, right?

Hache on Inverness Street is great - gourmet burgers, but not crap poncy ones, just ones made with very nice ingredients. They do good french frites, too.

The bread on those burgers is very good and fresh. Nice place. Was voted best burger by Time Out.
