Will Chinatown restaurants be open Labour Day?

Does anyone have any idea? Specially, I was hoping to go to Ruby Rouge or Kam Fung for dim sum Labour Day lunch. If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it!

  1. I can't speak with authority for Montreal, but here in San Francisco dim sum palaces are always open for holidays, and, in fact, do some of their best business of the year on those days.

I would say the same thing applies to the Chinatown restaurants in Montreal(they're open & do good business on holiday periods).

    2. Yes, they are open. I was in Chinatown yesterday & asked the Ruby Rouge manager if they'd be open Labour day weekend. He said "Of course, we are open 7 days a week!".
Reservations may be made at 514 390 8828.
Many years ago I found out first hand that rests. in Chinatown were the only ones open on Christmas day (maybe not all).

Thanks for the help! We always have Chinese for Christmas in Kansas City!
